Job Description JOB TITLE Marketing Specialist LEVEL/BAND MM20 DEPARTMENT Culture DIRECT REPORT (JOB TITLE) Brand and Marketing Manager Overall Purpose of the Position Manage and support the daily brand and marketing functions and initiatives within the Bank. Independently co-ordinate and deliver assigned marketing campaigns in line with the Brand & Marketing Calendar. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on time and to the required standard. Prepare clear, engaging and accurate copy for various communication channels. Operational Responsibilities Manage assigned marketing campaigns and initiatives from briefing and planning through to implementation and evaluation. Prepare campaign timelines and action plans, ensuring that agreed deliverables and deadlines are met. Co-ordinate multiple external marketing campaigns, maintaining clear communication with all relevant stakeholders throughout the process. Take ownership of assigned campaigns, proactively following up on outstanding actions, approvals and deliverables. Prepare clear briefs for agencies, suppliers and other external partners, ensuring that requirements and expectations are understood. Review campaign materials and deliverables to ensure that they are accurate, appropriate for the intended audience and aligned with the Bank’s brand guidelines. Prepare, review and edit copy for various communication channels, including direct customer communications, print and digital. Liaise with media houses, advertising agencies, publishers, print suppliers and other external partners as required. Support the management and creation of content for the Bank’s digital channels. Organise and co-ordinate promotional activities and other assigned marketing initiatives. Maintain a good understanding of the Bank’s products, services, customers and ongoing marketing priorities. General Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies, guidelines, and underlying procedures at all times. Maintain a consistently high standard of work and accuracy. Attend training as requested by the Bank. Support with the ongoing management of the Brand & Marketing Calendar. Prepare action plans, campaign updates, presentations and reports as required. Perform any other duties that may be reasonably assigned. Qualifications, Skills & Competencies Mandatory Skill Good knowledge of current marketing trends, channels, and best practice. Strong campaign co-ordination and project-management skills. Strong copywriting and editing skills. Working knowledge of digital marketing channels. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities and deadlines with limited supervision. Ability to take ownership of assigned work and follow tasks through to completion. Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify issues and propose appropriate next steps. Organised, reliable and attentive to detail. Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role carrying out various marketing campaigns and initiatives. Qualification Relevant professional qualification.
