*What You'll Be Doing*
* Perform all aspects of commercial and institutional carpentry. * Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Layout, frame, install, and finish a wide range of carpentry components. * Install doors, frames, hardware, millwork, siding, roofing, drywall backing, and other finish materials. * Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently. * Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades. * Mentor apprentices and help maintain a productive work environment. * Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
What We're Looking For
* 3+ years of carpentry experience (commercial/ICI experience preferred). * Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings. * Strong understanding of construction methods and building codes. * High attention to detail with pride in producing quality work. * Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation. * Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, lifts, or telehandlers is an asset. * Working at Heights, WHMIS, and First Aid certifications are considered assets.
