*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in both industrial and construction environments. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical tools and equipment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency. We also have opportunities to work abroad all over Ontario and East coast. There is a substantial amount of work in Eastern Ontario as well.
*Duties*
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulations. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. * Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs effectively. * Troubleshoot electrical issues, including low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). * Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. * Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become significant problems. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while performing all tasks.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial settings or construction projects is preferred. * Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in electrical work. * Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. * Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. * Previous maintenance person experience can be beneficial for this role.
