*Duties*
* Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards. * Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines. * Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dessert recipes and menu items. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies. * Package finished products for service or sale while ensuring quality presentation. * Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and ordering supplies as needed. * Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries about dessert offerings and accommodating special requests.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within the food industry is preferred. * Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. * Experience working in a restaurant or bakery setting is advantageous but not mandatory. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * A passion for baking and creating innovative pastry items is highly desirable.
