*Carpenter / Renovation Technician*

*Job Duties*
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements and layouts. * Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect wall and roof systems. * Install interior and exterior trim, doors, windows, moulding, cabinetry, and hardware. * Complete residential renovations, including decks, fences, garages, home construction, finishing work, Duradek installations, railings, framing, and general carpentry. * Assess, remove, and replace damaged framework, structures, and wooden fixtures. * Safely operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools, including saws, sanders, nail guns, and laser levels. * Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all health and safety requirements. * Assist with the preparation and installation of Duradek products. Training will be provided if needed.
Q*ualifications*
* Reliable transportation to and from work. * Willingness to work longer hours during the summer construction season and shorter hours during the winter. * Class 5 Driver's Licence required. * AEC/DEP or Skilled Trades Certificate is considered an asset. * Approximately four years of carpentry or renovation experience is preferred.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
