Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, managing transactions through our POS systems, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. Your enthusiasm and efficiency will contribute to delivering memorable experiences at our gaming facility.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of snacks, beverages, and light food items with attention to quality and presentation * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process cash and card transactions accurately * Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with health regulations * Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and providing correct change using basic math skills * Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities * Ensure cleanliness of the snack bar area, including kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment * Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and monitoring expiration dates
Qualifications
* Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus * Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable * Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods * Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude * Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and transactions * Kitchen experience or prior serving experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous * Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and promote a positive guest experience
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
