About this role
Banquet servers perform a variety of tasks to ensure smooth event operations and guest satisfaction. Their responsibilities include but not limited to:
*Event Setup and Teardown*: Arrange tables, linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces according to the event plan, and assist with post-event cleanup and storage of equipment and supplies.
*Guest Interaction*: Greet guests, anticipate needs, respond to complaints or concerns promptly, and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
*Food and Beverage Service*: Serve plated meals or attend buffet stations, refill beverage stations, and accommodate special dietary requests.
*Event Coordination*: Communicate with banquet leads or supervisors regarding seating, timing cues, and special requests to ensure a seamless event experience.
*Team Collaboration*: Work closely with kitchen staff, banquet setup teams, and event coordinators to ensure accurate and timely service.
*Sanitation and Safety*: Maintain cleanliness, follow food safety guidelines, and handle equipment and inventory responsibly to prevent breakage or waste.
Hours will fluctuate based on event bookings, weekends, evenings and mornings.
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
