If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about healthcare, and enjoy collaborating within a supportive team setting, we would love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities, as required/applicable: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive health care services. This role involves (is not limited to):Conduct patient assessments and follow-up visits for a variety of common allergic presentations.Perform and assist with clinical tasks including history taking, allergy skin testing, allergy immunization, and routine follow-ups.Assist physicians with in-office procedures.Complete initial patient assessments and document findings accurately.Deliver patient counselling and health education within scope of practice.Perform all other related administrative tasks or special tasks.Experience/education required:The applicant must have a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) designation with an active nursing license in good standing with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses (ANBLPN).Basic CPR certification.Previous experience across various areas of medicine is considered a strong asset.Previous experience administering immunizations, assisting with procedures, and conducting comprehensive patient assessments is considered a strong asset.Experience using electronic medical record software (EMR) is an asset.General knowledge of the New Brunswick medical system is an asset.QualificationsDemonstrate advanced clinical and critical thinking.Ability to maintain a high regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patients.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy clinical environment.Demonstrate strong documentation skills with attention to detail.Self-motivated individual who works well independently and as a team.Strong computer literacy, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage patients of all ages (infants to older adults) as well as members of the healthcare team.Adaptable and willing to learn new skills while responding positively to changes in practice.Strong organizational and time management skills.Empathetic, patient-focused approach to care.Due to daily operational needs, proficiency in English and French are required .Working Conditions & Location:The LPN position requires availability to work from Monday to Thursday from 8:15am-5pm.
