About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Interpret welding process specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines. Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Employment terms options: Day. Weekend. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
