Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Work setting: In-house printing or binding. Tasks: Plan production methods. Instruct apprentices. Monitor regular press run for quality using computer control console. Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run. Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment. Type of press: Flexographic press. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
