About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Move tools, equipment and other materials. Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Experience: No experience (will train). Support for newcomers and refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
