Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Operate laser cutters. Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification. Instruct apprentices. Cut materials using power tools or by hand. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
