Job summary Join Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood as a Maintenance Assistant where you will be part of creating a well maintained and safe environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society. As a Maintenance Assistant you will have:
Assisting with ensuring that the service, buildings, facilities and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose. Utilising good DIY skills to ensure safety of service users. Assisting in regular checks and maintenance. Assisting in the repair and maintenance of all buildings. Assisting in all decorating. Reporting all faults and defects to management Coordinating and supporting contractors whilst on site and completing of all paperwork and tool checks. To be successful in this role, you will:
To comply with system and procedures. Have previous experience within a maintenance role. To work effectively as part of a team and independently. Show courtesy and respect to patients at all times to ensure that they enjoy the highest quality of service. Where you will be working:
Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, located next to Gatwick. You’ll be caring for adult men 18+ who potentially have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and challenging behaviours.
