What you will be doing
As a qualified RMN or RNLD, you will ensure people with enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.
The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Your day-to-day will include:
Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care Providing mentorship and support to team members Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided Skills and knowledge you will have:
A relevant nursing qualification NMC registration Strong team-working skills A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice Where you will be working:
Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN
You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, which is a large purpose-built medium-secure service with good facilities. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide care and support for adult men 18+ with a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge.
Farmfield is located North West of Gatwick airport near the village of Hookwood, It is easiest to reach the site by car.

Qualifications Essential
A relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD) and NMC registration. Applicants should demonstrate strong teamwork skills, a high level of self-motivation, flexibility, and a caring, compassionate nature.
