Job summary
Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Registered Nurse.
You will work as RGN within the Day Stay and Elective Admission Lounge, delivering a high quality patient centred care to patient undergoing planned same day procedures and in patient admissions. The role involves admission, peri-procedural support and safe discharge. While in Elective lounge, this support patient pathways to in patient admissions.
You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective and timely care in the fact paced environment
Main duties of the job
The day stay unit provide care from 7am - 10 pm patients care for 5 days and 7am -15:30 for Elective Admission Lounge
You have to provide a safe, high quality nursing care. Assess, monitor & support patients through admission recovery and discharge. Monitor patient, manage pain, and recognise and escalate deterioration. Communicate effectively with patients and relatives and multidisciplinary team. Adhere to Trust policies and NMC code

Qualifications Essential
Adult RN with current NMC registration Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development

Experience in surgical area area
