Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic, visionary Specialist Biomedical Scientists in Microbiology (Band 6) to join our dynamic and thriving team. The Microbiology service is a UKAS ISO 15189; 2022 accredited laboratory based at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford and serves within the Kent and Medway Pathology Network (KMPN). Microbiology has a strong training ethos linked to career development and progression. Applicants should be effective leaders, have significant Microbiology knowledge and experience, and have a good track record of managing staff and laboratory resources. You must be able to demonstrate achievement of targets, of implementing service developments and service transformation initiatives, a high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
