Role Summary:
• Customer Quality Management
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service teams to address customer quality concerns and Quality-related issues.
• Lead cross-functional investigations for customer complaints and quality incidents to determine root causes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for customer quality issues.
• Validate effectiveness of implemented corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
• Prepare and issue Quality Alert Notices when required.
• Support and follow up on customer-related CAPA activities.
• Support investigation and closure of part damage and non-conformance CAPA activities.
• Support customer audits conducted at the Singapore facility.
• Coordinate and track audit findings, corrective actions, and improvement plans.
• Monitor completion of audit action items and verify effectiveness of implemented actions.
Quality Management System (QMS)
• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards.
• Assist in preparing for external certification and surveillance audits.
Audit and Compliance
• Conduct internal quality system audits to verify compliance with procedures, specifications, and established practices.
• Perform process audits to evaluate process effectiveness and adherence to requirements.
• Audit training compliance and monitor overall training adherence across the site.
• Support closure of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.
Process Quality & Continuous Improvement
• Support Process Development, Process Qualification, and Process Transfer activities in collaboration with Engineering.
• Manage and maintain site process monitoring programs.
• Support process data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Analyze quality and process performance data to identify trends and drive Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process capability, and operational efficiency.
Calibration & Measurement Systems
• Support the Calibration Management System to ensure measurement equipment remains compliant and available for use.
• Coordinate equipment recall and scheduling for external calibration services.
• Support repair and maintenance activities for measurement equipment on an as-needed basis.
Non-Conforming Product Control
• Ensure effective systems are established and maintained for the identification, segregation, investigation, and disposition of non-conforming products.
• Monitor implementation and effectiveness of non-conformance control processes.
Additional Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Participate in cross-functional projects supporting operational excellence initiatives.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in customer complaint handling, CAPA, root cause analysis, and audit management.
• Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015).
• Proficient in root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, etc.).
• Knowledge of CAPA, non-conformance management, and quality auditing techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Good organizational and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality data analysis tools
Education, Certifications, and Requirement:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 1 to 2 years of experience in Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related function.
• Preferred Certified Internal Auditor Experience in process validation, process qualification, and manufacturing quality control.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
