We are seeking a reliable, motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team. The role is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, picking, packing and dispatch of products within a fast-paced distribution environment. The successful candidate will support inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, forklift operation, warehouse housekeeping and health and safety standards while helping ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries, checking quantities and product details against delivery documentation.

• Inspect goods for damage, report discrepancies and accurately record receipts using warehouse systems.

• Put stock away in designated warehouse locations and maintain accurate stock records.

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch in line with company service standards.

• Complete dispatch documentation accurately and support on-time shipment of orders.

• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently for loading, unloading and movement of stock.

• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks and stock reconciliations.

• Support stock relocations, warehouse improvement initiatives and operational projects.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment at all times.

• Comply with Health & Safety policies, manual handling requirements and PPE procedures.

• Report hazards, accidents and near misses promptly.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the warehouse and wider business.

Here's what you need to have and master to get the job

Essential

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.

• Valid forklift licence/certification (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck).

• Previous experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse environment.

• Experience handling inventory and stock control processes with a strong focus on inventory accuracy.

• Good understanding of warehouse operations, procedures, and order fulfilment activities.

• Basic computer literacy.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when receiving, picking, and dispatching goods.

• Understanding of Health & Safety requirements and commitment to maintaining a safe warehouse environment.

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and follow established procedures.

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move products safely throughout the workday.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Experience within a technology, electronics, or IT distribution environment.

• Experience using handheld scanning devices.

• Experience with serial number and asset tracking.

• Previous involvement in inventory audits, stock counts, and reconciliation activities.

• Experience with RMA, returns, and warranty processing.

• Awareness of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures.

• Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects within a warehouse environment.

Working Environment & Schedule

• Full-time position.

• Standard warehouse operating hours(Daytime shift Mon-Friday)

• Flexibility may be required during peak periods, inventory counts, and operational projects.

• Occasional overtime may be required.
