Position Summary
Semper Solaris is seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Battery Foreman to lead residential battery storage installation projects. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee installation crews, ensure safe and high-quality workmanship, and provide technical expertise while delivering exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do
• Lead and support installation crews on residential battery storage and solar projects.
• Install and commission battery storage systems and related equipment.
• Perform electrical work, including subpanel, load center, disconnect, and main panel upgrades.
• Install conduit and configure AC and DC wiring in compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
• Train and mentor junior team members on installation best practices.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site and address any potential safety concerns.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer questions throughout the installation process.
• Complete all required job documentation and quality checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
• Experience installing residential battery storage systems required.
• Previous experience leading or overseeing installation teams preferred.
• Knowledge of residential electrical systems, including AC and DC wiring.
• Ability to read blueprints and installation plans.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Journeyman Electrician certification is highly preferred.
• Previous solar PV, roofing, or general construction experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, working at heights, and walking on various roof types.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely perform all essential job functions of the position.
