About U1 Sports U1 Sports is a youth sports organization dedicated to helping young people thrive through athletics, academic support, leadership, and enrichment. Through school and community partnerships, we create engaging experiences that help students build Confidence, Character, and Community.
Position Summary Our Academic Success Coaches combine traditional homework support with innovative technology-based learning to create engaging and personalized academic experiences for every student.
The Academic Success Coach will provide homework assistance, academic enrichment, and personalized learning support while facilitating student learning through adaptive educational software and digital learning platforms.
Key Responsibilities • Homework assistance. • Reading, writing, and math support. • Guide students using adaptive learning software. • Monitor student progress in digital learning platforms. • Encourage study habits and independent learning. • Troubleshoot basic technology issues. • Collaborate with staff and support family engagement.
Required Qualifications • Experience working with youth. • Strong communication skills. • Comfortable using computers, tablets, and educational platforms. • Tech-savvy and able to learn new software.
Preferred Qualifications • Education-related degree or current college student. • Tutoring experience. • Experience with adaptive learning software. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Schedule Monday–Friday | Approximately 3:00–6:00 PM | 10–15 hrs/week
Compensation Competitive hourly rate.
