The Role – Manufacturing Production Team Lead
Due to continued business growth and investment in our manufacturing operations, we are expanding our team and adding a Manufacturing Production Team Lead position. This is a newly created opportunity that offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while growing your career with an employee-owned company. The Manufacturing Team Lead will coordinate daily work, priorities, and problem-solving within an assigned Focus Factory to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production while supporting flow, quality, and team accountability in a high-mix electrical fabrication environment.
What You'll Do
• Own daily workflow for assigned focus factory or value stream.
• Coordinate job priorities based on the production schedule.
• Ensure work orders are started, progressed, and completed as planned.
• Serve as the communication link between Planning, Supervisors, and the team.
• Communicate daily priorities, changes, and constraints to operators.
• Surface material, documentation, or capacity issues immediately.
• Ensure team follows standard work, drawings, and build instructions.
• Catch and address quality issues at point of build.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support to team members.
• Reinforce attendance, safety, and work expectations.
• Reinforce safe work practices, PPE compliance, and standard operating procedures.
What You Bring (Required Experience)
• 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably electrical fabrication.
• Experience with panel builds, wire harnesses, or electro-mechanical assembly.
• The ability to read drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with production schedules and priorities.
• Comfortable using ERP systems for labor and job tracking.
• Prior lead/mentor experience is strongly preferred.
