Hotel McCoy Front Desk Guest Services / Bartender – Job Description
Position Summary Provide exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming, fun, and memorable experience from check-in to check-out. This hybrid role includes front desk operations, bartending, and assisting with lobby hospitality while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk / Guest Services
Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out procedures. Answer phones, make reservations, and respond to guest inquiries. Process payments and maintain accurate guest records. Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Recommend local attractions, restaurants, and hotel amenities. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby.
Bartender
Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. Verify guest identification and follow responsible alcohol service laws. Maintain bar cleanliness and restock beverages and supplies. Process bar transactions and balance cash receipts. Create a friendly, engaging atmosphere for hotel guests.
Additional Duties
Prepare simple food items when required (such as grilled cheese or light snacks at some locations). Assist with lobby events and guest activities. Work collaboratively with housekeeping and maintenance teams. Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and customer service standards.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude. Basic computer and cash-handling skills. Previous hospitality or bartending experience preferred but not always required. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Certifications (Arizona locations)
Arizona Title 4 Alcohol Certification. Arizona Food Handler Card.
