Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR professional to join our team. The successful candidate will manage both operational and strategic HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, employee relations and organization development in alignment with organizational goals, policies and labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Talent Management:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment.

• Support succession planning by identifying critical roles and developing talent pipelines.

• Facilitate mentoring and coaching initiatives to prepare staff for future roles.

• Assist in developing people management and retention strategies.

HR Analytics & Reporting:

• Collect and compile HR metrics from HRIS, payroll, employee surveys and industry benchmarks.

• Analyze trends in recruitment, turnover, hiring practices and compliance.

• Prepare data summaries and dashboards to support management decision making.

• Use metrics to recommend policy improvements that strengthen org. culture.

Other Key HR Functions:

• Payroll Support: Provide payroll input as requested to the dedicated Payroll Officer and offer data support as needed.

• Performance Management: Administer appraisals, track completion rates, support managers in addressing performance gaps, analyze performance data and generate reports.

• Learning & Development: Implement L&D systems to support career growth and succession planning, coordinate training logistics and maintain records.

• HRIS: Administer BambooHR, ensure data integrity and train staff on system use.

• Policy & Compliance: Update policies, ensure statutory compliance and implementation of and adherence to policies. Support the HR Manager in developing the annual HR work plan and strategy.

• Employee Relations & Organizational Development: Handle grievances, support disciplinary processes and contribute to culture change, team effectiveness and job design.

• Budget & Departmental Support: Assist with HR budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and preparation and review of standard operating procedures (SOP).

COMPETENCIES

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive, hands-on HR experience, preferably in a generalist or operations role.

• Active member of CIHRM or equivalent recognized professional body and CIHRM/SPHRi certified.

TECHNICAL:

• Knowledge of Ghana’s Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651).

• Commitment to staying current with changes in applicable law and policies.

• Proficiency with HR software, and ability to analyze and present HR metrics for decision making.

• Talent acquisition.
