About this role
Fasset | Associate PM / Senior PM / Lead PM | Open to Relocate
About Fasset:
Fasset is a regulated stablecoin-based neobank building the financial infrastructure for emerging markets. We're not a crypto app with banking features bolted on. We're a licensed financial entity using stablecoin rails to solve a real problem: moving and storing money in markets where legacy banking is slow, expensive, or simply doesn't reach enough people.
Retail is where most people meet us first: an investment app, virtual and physical debit cards, crypto earning products, and stablecoin-powered cross-border transfers that settle in seconds instead of days. We hold regulatory licenses across our operating markets, and that status is core to who we are. It's what lets us do serious money movement without the trust gap that sinks most crypto-adjacent products.
We're scaling fast and building an AI-native product and engineering culture to match. Speed, iteration, and a bias toward shipping over deliberating are how we operate.
Why Cards, Why Now:
Cards are the most trusted, most universal financial product on earth. Everyone knows how to use one. For Fasset, a card is the bridge between "crypto/stablecoin balance" and "money I can actually spend at the grocery store or online." It's the product that turns Fasset from an app people fund into a bank people live in.
Cards are also a primary growth lever for our global expansion. Every new market we enter needs a localized card strategy: the right issuing partner, the right scheme relationships, a rewards program that resonates with local spending habits, and a go-to-market that gets the card into people's wallets fast. Done right, cards drive daily active usage, deepen stablecoin balances on-platform, and become the product with the strongest emotional pull toward "primary bank" status. Done wrong, they're a compliance and ops headache that stalls expansion. This role sits at the center of getting it right.
We're hiring across two levels for this mandate. Associate/Senior PM (up to 6 years of direct cards and/or rewards PM experience) and Lead PM (6+ years of direct cards and/or rewards PM experience). Both own real scope from day one; the Lead role carries more autonomy over strategy, market prioritization, and cross-functional influence at the leadership level.
What You'll Own:
Card Product & Operations-
• Own the roadmap for virtual and physical debit (and eventually credit) cards: issuance flow, card controls, limits, disputes, chargebacks, and the day-to-day operational health of the product.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Ops to keep card operations clean as we scale across jurisdictions with different regulatory demands.
• Define and track the metrics that matter: activation rate, time-to-first-swipe, transaction volume, dispute rate, and card as a driver of platform stickiness.
• Be the person in the room who knows exactly why a transaction failed and what it takes to fix it, structurally, not just for one user.
Partnership Integrations-
• Manage and grow relationships with card issuing partners, processors, and scheme partners
• Evaluate new partners as we enter new markets, balancing cost, coverage, speed to launch, and reliability.
• Translate partner technical requirements into product specs your engineering team can build against, and vice versa.
• Negotiate scope and commercial terms alongside BD/Partnerships, with a clear view of what tradeoffs actually matter for the roadmap.
Rewards Programs-
• Design and own a rewards program strategy that works globally but flexes locally, this is not a one-size-fits-all loyalty bolt-on.
• Develop the rewards marketplace infrastructure that scales across Fasset business lines outside of retail use cases.
• Build and manage relationships with top-tier rewards partners (travel, retail, lifestyle) that give our card real, differentiated value versus incumbent banks and neobanks.
• Define the economics: what rewards cost us, what they return in engagement and retention, and where the ceiling is before it becomes a subsidy we can't sustain.
• Continuously test and iterate on rewards mechanics (cashback, points, tiered perks) based on what actually drives usage, not just what looks good on a pitch deck.
Go-To-Market
• Partner with Marketing and Growth to plan and execute card launches in new markets, from waitlist to activation campaign to post-launch optimization.
• Own the narrative: why should someone in this market choose our card over what they already have in their pocket.
• Work with Design and Marketing on the physical and digital card experience, since the card itself is a marketing asset.
Market Entry & Prioritization
• Build the framework for which markets get a card product next, and in what sequence, factoring in regulatory readiness, partner availability, competitive landscape, and expected uptake.
• Make the case, with data, for why a market is or isn't ready, and push back on pressure to launch before the fundamentals are in place.
• Work closely with Regulatory/Compliance and Country leads to align card rollout with our broader licensing and market entry strategy.
Who You Are:
Required for all levels:
• Direct product management experience specifically in cards and/or rewards programs (fintech, neobank, or card issuer/processor background strongly preferred).
• Sharp understanding of card economics: interchange, scheme fees, issuer/processor cost structures, and how rewards programs are actually funded.
• Comfortable operating at the intersection of product, ops, risk, and partnerships. This isn't a purely roadmap-and-Figma role.
• A bias toward speed and iteration. You'd rather ship a v1 rewards program and improve it than spend a quarter perfecting a spec that never launches.
• Strong instincts for emerging markets: you understand that a rewards program that works in the UAE might flop in Pakistan, and you know why.
• Excellent cross-functional communicator. You'll work daily with Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and external partners.
Associate / Senior PM (up to 6 years direct cards/rewards experience):
• Proven ability to own a product area end-to-end with moderate oversight.
• Experience shipping card or rewards features in a regulated environment.
• Data-literate: comfortable defining metrics and using them to make the call on what to build next.
Lead PM (6+ years direct cards/rewards experience):
• Track record of owning cards or rewards as a strategic pillar, not just a feature set, ideally including market launch experience.
• Experience negotiating and managing issuer, processor, or scheme partnerships directly.
• Ability to set market entry and prioritization strategy, and defend it to leadership and investors.
• Comfortable mentoring and setting direction for other PMs working in adjacent areas.
