As a Technical Application Engineer within our Technical Application Management (TAM) team, you are responsible for the availability, performance, security and continuous improvement of the Benefits-Plaza platform. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and act as a technical expert for one of our most important SaaS solutions. This is a hands-on role where infrastructure, middleware, security and automation come together. You'll regularly balance operational continuity, customer expectations and security requirements while making sound technical decisions under pressure. You'll be responsible for: - Drive the resolution of complex platform incidents and problems, ensuring timely recovery while acting as the technical escalation point for internal teams and stakeholders. - Monitor the Benefits-Plaza platform and proactively resolve operational issues, including resource bottlenecks, application outages and middleware failures (e.g. disk space, CPU usage and Tomcat availability). - Contribute to daily operations: handling service requests and standard changes, following agreed ITIL processes. - Managing service requests and standard changes in line with ITIL processes. - Managing web service integrations, including networking, whitelisting, security configuration and end-to-end technical validation. - Planning and executing maintenance activitie...
