Core responsibilities - Manage day-to-day operations of the aangiftepraktijk (tax return/compliance practice) and oversee planning, capacity, and deadlines. - Review and sign off on tax filings and related documentation; safeguard quality, accuracy, and compliance. - Advise clients on tax compliance matters and coordinate with internal specialists when needed. - Improve processes, standardize working methods, and implement tools to increase efficiency and consistency. - Coach, develop, and evaluate team members; support recruitment and onboarding. - Monitor KPIs (quality, throughput, turnaround time) and report progress to leadership. - Identify commercial opportunities within existing accounts and support client growth. Required skills and experience - Proven leadership experience in a tax compliance or accounting environment. - Strong knowledge of Dutch tax filing processes and compliance requirements. - Experience with review procedures, risk management, and quality control. - Excellent stakeholder management and client communication skills. - Process improvement mindset; comfortable with digital tooling and workflow optimization. - Strong planning, prioritization, and people development capabilities.
