Collective DansBlok is looking for 1 dancer (f/x) for new production NIEMANDSLAND! Due to a last minute cancellation we are looking for 1 dancer for our new production. NIEMANDSLAND is a playful 30 minute performance with three dancers about fear of the 'other', exclusion and the value of curiosity. Requirements: - professional contemporary dancer (f/x) - based in The Netherlands - comfortable with co-creating - experienced in partnerwork - expressive performer - available on ALL of the rehearsal and performance dates This is a payed opportunity. Rehearsals (+- 9:00 - 17:00h in Leiden): September 22, 23, 25, 29, 30 October 2, 6, 7, 9, 19 (daytime rehearsal and evening work in progress-presentation), 20, 21, 23, 27, 28, 30 November 3, 4, 6, 10 (montage so daytime and evening) Try-outs (daytime in Leiden): Tour (dates tba) in spring & summer 2027. About DansBlok: DansBlok is an all-female collective based in Leiden. Our work is a reaction to conflicts that the makers experience in our current society. It explores themes like dealing with paradoxical expectations, challenging boundaries and the need for true connection. DansBlok is known for their organic and theatrical movement language, strong expression and partnerwork.
