Why your role matters As a Senior Database Engineer, you own the availability, scalability, and performance of our MariaDB/MySQL platforms that power real time and latency sensitive services across i3D.net 's global infrastructure. You design, build, and operate highly available database platforms that are reliable, observable, and easy for our internal engineering teams to consume. From provisioning new database clusters and automating operations to improving performance and supporting mission critical production workloads, you play a key role in ensuring our services remain fast, resilient, and always available. Because i3D.net operates its own global infrastructure, you work across the full technology stack. Alongside database engineering, you'll work closely with Linux, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code, and platform automation to build modern database services rather than simply administer databases.
