Can you successfully combine the people-oriented and logistical sides of this job? Then TICA Aalsmeer is looking for you! Where Will You Work and What Will You Do? You will be working at TICA; a business purchasing center the size of ten football fields with more than 200 shop-in-shops of leading lifestyle brands, located just outside Schiphol in Aalsmeer. All these brands arrive through our shipping department, which is where you will be working! As a Logistics Assistant, you will be flexibly deployed across one of the logistics departments: Shipping, Transport & Packing, or Orders. Your duties will include: • Shipping • Point of contact for exhibitors upon arrival and departure. You check whether visitors to the Shipping department are authorized to enter the building and perform bag checks upon departure. You do this hospitably and with a smile. • Supporting exhibitors with the release of incoming goods and processing waste streams. • Processing incoming goods in the warehouse and inventory system. • Preparing tasks for the following day and keeping the work environment tidy and clean. • Transport & Packing • Point of contact for the checkout team and/or the cardholder for organizing transport. • Packing goods for transport or collection. • Orders • Point of contact for exhibitors and members upon receipt and collection of orders. • Registration and handling of orders in the inventory system.
