Vacancy Workshop assistant Do you enjoy getting stuck in, and do you like things to be tidy and well-organised? Do you enjoy working with your hands and supporting your colleagues? For our team at Van Mourik Bouw, we're looking for an enthusiastic Workshop Assistant to join us from August, who will ensure that our workshop and outdoor area remain tidy, safe and well-organised. As a Workshop Assistant, you will organise materials, equipment and tools, assist colleagues in the machine woodworking department with a variety of tasks, load and unload trolleys with materials, and ensure that everything runs smoothly. It is a varied role in which you will actively contribute to keeping the site and workshop tidy, both at our head office and at our warehouse in Culemborg. What will you be doing? - Ensuring the workshop is tidy and clean - Loading and unloading trolleys and materials and placing them in the correct location - Organising tools and materials and preparing them for use - Collecting tools and equipment and checking them for use - Lending a helping hand to colleagues in mechanical woodworking, such as sanding and spraying, and other various tasks - Assisting with the maintenance and cleaning of the storage area What do we expect from you? - Practical and good with your hands - Physically fit and able to carry out lifting tasks - Proactive and positive attitude: you see what needs to be done and get on with it - Reliable, supportive and a true team player - Living in the vicinity of our branches - Proficiency in operating equipment such as a forklift or telehandler is an advantage.
