Have you done fNIRS research or worked with EEG or fMRI? Have you taken a research project from planning stages to acquiring, analysing and publishing the data? Are you a great communicator and want to move the field of neuroscience forward? If this sounds like you, then joining our team as a Scientific Consultant will be a highly fulfilling role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop an expert understanding of fNIRS technology. Stay well-read on fNIRS-based and related research, as well as methods and technology developments. - Consult scientists on the best solution for their research questions. This requires understanding their research goals and the latest technology developments and considerations for their field. - Interact with leading researchers in child/neurodevelopment, neuroscientists, cognitive psychologists, sport-scientists, medical researchers and more. - Build strong relationships within the research community and lead customer-oriented handling of sales requests, utilising communication via email, phone, conference calls / online sessions. - Travel to research hubs to provide demonstrations, workshops, and training. Engage with researchers and our partners at conferences (like SfN, OHBM, CNS, SfNIRS, etc.) - Work together with an awesome team! This role involves interfacing with scientists, engineers, project managers, grant writers and many others. - Act as voice-of-the-customer to the rest of NIRx.
