Your tasks - Perform challenging rack and device installations using Rack Elevation Diagrams (REDs) for Cisco Nexus 9k, Catalyst 9500, and other networking components. - Ensuring mechanical safety, correct power supply and rack integrity. - Perform structured copper and fiber cabling including SMF/MMF fibers, SFP/SFP+/QSFP+ modules, and ANSI/TIA 606-B cabling. - Manage patch panels, cross-connect, and coordinate line extensions with telecom providers. - Configure and troubleshoot out-of-band (OOB) management and console accesses. - Support for BIOS-based error analysis and on-site boot monitoring. - Apply in-depth routing and switching knowledge to OSI layers 1-3, including VLANs, STP, EtherChannel/LACP, and protocol validation (BGP, OSPF). - Collaborate with NOC and infrastructure teams to resolve business-critical network disruptions. Requirements - 6-8 years of work experience in a data center or large enterprise campus environment - Experience installing Ethernet and fiber cabling on Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto and F5 load balancers - Hands-on experience with routing and switching as well as Cisco IOS, NX-OS, PAN OS or Arista EOS - Experience in working with Visual Fault Locators (VFL), Light Meters and Fiber Inspection Scopes - CCNA-Zertifizierung erforderlich; CCNP Enterprise (ENCORE) von Vorteil - Erfahrung im Umgang mit geschäftskritischen Incidents in Enterprise-Netzwerken und Rechenzentren - Bereitschaft zur Vor-Ort-Arbeit von Montag bis Freitag (kein Hybrid- oder Remote-Modell) - Lokale Sprachkenntnisse sind erforderlich Wichtige Kompetenzen - Erweiterte Fehleranalyse auf den OSI-Schichten 1–3 - Präzision bei physischer Installation und Verkabelungsstandards - Ausgeprägte Dokumentations- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten - Selbstständiges Arbeiten vor Ort - Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden IT-Teams Warum Excis?
