Full Stack Java Software Engineer (m/f) 100% Sontex is a successful and expanding SME in the field of metrology with headquarters in the Biel region. For 36 years, we have been developing, producing, and selling devices for the precise metering of energy consumption. We thus support our customers in the efficient use of resources and in saving energy. Our national and international customers are active in the field of building technology and building automation. To strengthen our software team, we are looking for a Full Stack Java Software Engineer (m/f) 100% Your responsibilities Designing and developing Windows, Android, and web applications, libraries, and OSGi components with Java Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle Maintain code quality through modern development methods, best practices, and test automation Close cooperation and interaction with external partners, product management, HW/FW engineers, sales teams and customers Contribute and support software release planning and realization Provide 3rd level support on software tools Create and maintain technical documentation Your profile Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar know\-how. Strong Java skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Experience developing web applications with Java using microservice architectures. Experience developing user interfaces for Windows, Android, or web platforms. Solution\-oriented way of working with high\-quality standards. Able to work under minimal supervision. Good knowledge of English and French (minimum B2 level). Knowledge of German is an advantage.
