Work tasks: The role As an Electronics Production Technician, you will support the assembly, inspection, testing and rework of electronic components and printed circuit boards used in our products and development systems. You will work closely with our engineering team, following technical documentation and testing procedures, identifying faults and recording results accurately. Your work will help ensure that our electronic assemblies meet the required quality and performance standards. This role is suitable for someone with a vocational background or practical experience in electronics who enjoys precise, hands-on work and wants to develop their skills in an advanced engineering environment. Key responsibilities • Assemble electronic components, printed circuit boards and related systems • Inspect incoming PCB assemblies, components and solder joints visually and under a microscope • Perform soldering, cleaning, handling and rework of PCB assemblies • Carry out electrical measurements and functional testing using standard test equipment and dedicated test rigs • Identify faults, perform initial troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to engineers • Read and follow electronic schematics, datasheets, assembly instructions and testing procedures • Prepare cables, connectors and electronic connections • Record inspection, testing and rework results accurately • Maintain the traceability of components and completed work • Monitor electronic component and consumable inventory and communicate replenishment needs • Provide practical feedback and suggest improvements to assembly, testing and work procedures We offer: What we offer • A monthly gross salary of €2394–€3724 depending on your experience and skills • Hands-on work with advanced space and optical communication technology • Close cooperation with electronics, embedded software and mechanical engineers • The opportunity to help establish and improve assembly and testing processes as the company grows • Varied work across electronics assembly, inspection, testing, troubleshooting and production support • A small international team where your contribution has a visible impact on the final product Occasional remote work for suitable tasks may be agreed with the hiring manager. Other requirements: What we are looking for Required experience • Vocational education in electronics or equivalent practical experience • Practical experience with electronics assembly and PCB handling • Ability to read electronic schematics, component datasheets and technical instructions • Soldering and PCB rework skills • Ability to use standard electronic test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes and laboratory power supplies • Ability to identify electronic components and understand their markings and package information • Basic fault-finding and troubleshooting skills • A careful, methodical and quality-focused approach • Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately • English at B2 level or above • Willingness to learn new equipment, processes and techniques We welcome applications from both experienced technicians and strong junior candidates with relevant practical skills and a solid foundation in electronics.
