Job Overview1 Resource Group is seeking a skilled Product Engineer to support the YT Platform with a focus on the United States market. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and detailing vehicle options and variants while ensuring alignment with global platform standards and engineering governance.
The ideal candidate brings strong 3D design experience, understands manufacturing processes, and can collaborate across global teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and detail 3D components, assemblies, and vehicle structuresEngineer and document product options and variants tailored to the U.S. marketAdapt designs to support local sourcing and U.S.-based suppliersCreate production and release drawings for review and approvalSupport prototype builds, testing, validation, and implementation activitiesOptimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and platform consistencyWork within established platform architecture, design standards, and engineering guidelinesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and production feasibility
Core FunctionsExecute assignments and priorities as directed by Platform leadershipCoordinate closely with CAD Engineering teams to align on design standards, tools, and methodologiesPartner with Process Engineering teams to ensure production readiness and efficiencyDeliver technical outputs for review, decision-making, and final release by platform leadershipSupport sourcing and supplier integration initiatives
Work EnvironmentThis role operates within a professional engineering environment with collaboration across both office and manufacturing settings. Occasional flexibility in schedule may be required to support project timelines and production demands.
Requirements
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)3–7+ years of experience in product engineering, design engineering, or similar roleStrong experience with 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawingsKnowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and product development cyclesExperience working in a structured engineering environment with defined standards
