We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading innovator in the blockchain space who is seeking a Senior Golang Engineer/ Staff Backend Engineer (with deep Go expertise) to join their core backend team. Our client has developed a real-time parimutuel prediction market platform built on Solana, designed to integrate ultra-fast, 60-second to 30-minute prediction markets directly into livestream environments and web platforms.
Following a successful $1M pre-seed round in April 2026 led by prominent venture participants in the Solana ecosystem, the organization is scaling its infrastructure to handle high-concurrency, traffic patterns. As one of the first backend engineering hires, the successful candidate will own critical systems responsible for market creation, settlement, and automated payouts during high-stakes global livestream events.
Key Responsibilities:
Own core backend systems powering the clients user-facing productDesign, build, and operate low-latency Go services that serve critical application and blockchain-related read stateImprove and harden our indexing, caching, database, and service architecture for scale, correctness, and reliabilityDesign systems that can absorb highly bursty traffic and recover cleanly under failureOwn observability across logs, metrics, tracing, alerting, profiling, and production debuggingBe directly involved in incident response, uptime, scaling, and backend reliabilityWork closely with the founders on architecture, product shape, and technical tradeoffsPropose better systems, better abstractions, and better product behavior instead of waiting to be told what to buildHelp set the bar for backend engineering as the company growsRequirements
Expert Go Proficiency: Deep expertise in Go, including sophisticated concurrency patterns, context management, race detection, and profiling.Distributed Systems Mastery: A proven track record of building user-facing, low-latency systems at scale. You understand idempotency, ordering guarantees, and consistency tradeoffs.Database Fundamentals: Strong experience in schema design, transaction management, and performance tuning for high-throughput applications.Operational Excellence: Experience operating production systems directly, including modern DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP) and live incident response.Startup DNA: Comfort in a high-autonomy, "docs-heavy," and async-first environment where you move quickly.
