Description
We are looking for an experienced Commerce Tech Lead to support the definition, planning, and rollout of scalable eCommerce capabilities across international markets, with an immediate focus on Germany & the US, to start ASAP for a duration of three months. Based in a commutable distance to Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and document the current eCommerce landscape, including scale and complexity across:Customer journeys and transactionsRevenue streams and SKU catalogueIntegrations (ERP, payments, tax, fulfilment, returns, discounting)Define lightweight eCommerce requirements for the US marketIdentify and document the capabilities required to replicate and enhance the existing German (DE) eCommerce experienceDefine, prioritise, and validate future platform requirements and use casesSupport the eCommerce platform RFP (Request for Proposal) and vendor selection processDevelop a comprehensive delivery plan covering capabilities, use cases, and roadmapProduce detailed delivery estimates for both DE and US eCommerce implementationsData architecture and end-to-end process flow documentationSupport throughout the RFP and platform selection processEnd-to-end delivery plan, including capability rollout and key milestones
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in eCommerce strategy, platform delivery, or digital transformationStrong understanding of end-to-end eCommerce ecosystems (ERP, payments, tax, fulfilment, returns)Experience working across international markets, ideally DE and/or USDemonstrated experience supporting RFP processes and vendor selectionAbility to translate business needs into technical and operational requirementsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills
