Job Title: Target.com Specialist Job Type: Full-time / Remote Work Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM EST (US business hours preferred)
Job Overview: We’re helping our client find a Target.com Specialist to own and optimize product performance across Target.com, with a strong focus on On-Platform Optimization (OPO) for Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and management of Roundel retail media campaigns.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving product discoverability, improving search rankings, and increasing conversion rates through advanced PDP optimization, digital shelf management, and paid retail media execution. You will play a key role in improving eCommerce performance and contributing directly to revenue growth within the Target marketplace ecosystem.
This is a highly performance-driven role suited to someone with strong experience in retail media, marketplace optimization, SEO-driven content strategy, and data-led eCommerce growth.
Responsibilities: Target.com PDP Optimization (OPO) ● Own and optimize Product Detail Pages (PDPs) on Target.com ● Improve product titles, descriptions, bullet points, backend attributes, and taxonomy alignment ● Strengthen keyword relevance to improve search visibility and organic ranking ● Identify content gaps and implement improvements to increase conversion rates
Digital Shelf Performance ● Monitor product discoverability, search ranking, and conversion performance ● Maintain catalog accuracy, completeness, and compliance with marketplace standards ● Analyze competitor product listings and implement optimization strategies ● Support product launches and ensure strong assortment readiness
Roundel Advertising Management ● Plan, execute, and optimize Roundel retail media campaigns ● Manage keyword targeting, budgets, bids, and campaign pacing ● Track and optimize key performance metrics including ROAS, CTR, CPC, and conversion rate ● Conduct A/B testing across ad creatives, placements, and targeting strategies
Performance Analysis ● Analyze marketplace and campaign data to deliver actionable insights ● Identify optimization and growth opportunities across the digital shelf ● Support forecasting, reporting, and promotional planning initiatives
Requirements
Must-Have: ● 2+ years’ experience in Target.com, retail media, or marketplace optimization roles ● Strong hands-on experience with PDP optimization and digital shelf management ● Proven experience managing retail media campaigns (Roundel or similar platforms) ● Strong understanding of eCommerce performance metrics (ROAS, CTR, CPC, conversion rate) ● Experience working within vendor or marketplace systems
Nice-to-Have: ● Experience with additional marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) ● Knowledge of SEO, keyword strategy, and content optimization tools ● Background in fast-paced eCommerce, retail, or DTC environments ● Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel or data reporting tools
