We are looking for a Data Coordinator to support a team of legal professionals by managing, analysing, and maintaining critical information in a fast-paced international environment. Client Details Our client is a prestigious American law firm located in Ixelles, Brussels, recognised for its international presence and collaborative culture. The Brussels office offers a dynamic, multicultural working environment where excellence, precision, and teamwork are highly valued. Description As a Data Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys through accurate data management and research. Your responsibilities will include: Managing, organising, and maintaining large datasets using advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities. Performing complex data analysis using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and other advanced Excel features. Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of legal and business-related information. Conducting research and compiling information to support ongoing legal matters. Preparing reports, summaries, and data files for attorneys and internal stakeholders. Reviewing and updating databases with a high level of accuracy. Collaborating closely with legal teams to ensure deadlines are met and information is properly documented. Identifying inconsistencies and proactively improving data quality and processes. The ideal candidate is analytical, organised, and enjoys working with data in a structured environment. You have: A bachelor's degree (Business Management, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or any other relevant field). A native level of English, both written and spoken. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF formulas, and data manipulation. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage confidential information with discretion. A proactive mindset and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks. Previous experience working with large datasets or in an analytical, administrative, legal, financial, or business support environment is considered an asset. Please note: Applicants must already be based in Belgium and have the legal right to work in Belgium. Unfortunately, relocation or visa sponsorship is not available for this position, as the preferred start date is late August or early September.
