About this role
For a leading European player in self-storage, we are looking for a Purchase Order Manager. You will report to the Director of Accounting. This is not a procurement role. Instead, it is a finance-focused position where accounting knowledge, financial controls and process governance are essential. Lead, coach and develop a team of Finance Operations professionals. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of purchase orders. Maintain the quality and integrity of vendor master data while ensuring compliance with financial controls. Partner closely with Accounting to support accurate financial reporting, month-end close and reconciliation activities. Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, compliant and high-quality operations. Support ERP enhancements, finance transformation initiatives and business integration projects. Drive continuous improvement of Purchase-to-Pay processes, financial controls and operational efficiency. Act as the key contact for Finance Operations, providing expert support to internal stakeholders. Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting, finance, economics, or equivalent experience. Several years experience in accounting/controlling. 3+ years in financial management/leadership; experience with system-driven procurement processes. SAP MM/FI, S/4HANA, advanced Excel, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
