Stepping Stones Care Ltd, established in 2008, provides residential care to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. We are a small service supporting people with high care needs. Pay: €33,529.60 per year (€16.12 hourly) Hours: 40 hours per week Status: Full-Time Location: Co. Meath About the Role: We are recruiting a Health Care Assistant to support a person with an intellectual disability and/or autism to enjoy an ordinary life — empowered and supported to live life to the fullest in a residential setting. Duties: Support the team in ensuring the service complies with applicable HIQA regulations Maintain sufficient professional knowledge to carry out the duties of the role Ensure record-keeping complies with legislation and HIQA requirements Work directly with individuals and complete administrative tasks related to the day-to-day running of the house Demonstrate strong organisational, report-writing, IT, and time-management skills Remain flexible and open to change Ideal Candidate: QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Experience supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism Experience working in a HIQA-regulated environment Excellent organisational and communication skills Strong knowledge of HIQA Standards Full clean driving licence Requirements: Driving Licence (required) QQI Level 5 Qualification (required) Work authorisation: Ireland (required) Work Location: In person To apply: Email [email protected] or call 01 8397509
