About this role
The position will be in Bright Sparks Childcare, Ballingarry, Thurles. The aim of this program is to provide you with the opportunity of acquiring knowledge in the area of childcare whilst gaining experience working in a Childcare Setting. Duties to include assisting childcare leader on a daily basis in the general running of the facility; to assist with daily activities; to meet the needs of the children in your care; organise and supervise play, arts and crafts, etc. You will achieve a Level 5 QQI (FETAC) Childcare qualification which will enable you to obtain employment in childcare. Candidates must be prepared to dedicate themselves to classes and study. Genuine interest in working with children, flexibility and a good command of the English language is required.
