Responsibilities:

Lead the exploration of novel sensing and actuation technologies.

Define and evaluate robotic system architectures spanning, sensing, actuation, and controls.

Guide multidisciplinary teams through prototyping, validation, and deployment.

Collaborate with partners and researchers on novel technology applications.

Support technical planning and development and drive strategy for next-generation robotic platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

Experience with a range of tactile sensing, haptics, and actuation technologies in robotic systems.

Experience bringing complex hardware-software systems from prototype to production.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience developing complex mechatronic or robotic systems.

Experience with sensing, actuation, controls, and system integration.

Experience with a wide range of mechatronics prototyping tools and technologies.

Experience leading multidisciplinary technical projects and teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex systems.

Experience developing products and technologies from concept through production.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or a related field.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
