Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain packaging designs for PDC product assemblies and partsCollaborate with product teams to define packaging design requirementsIdentify and pursue cost‑saving initiatives (design, materials, processes, sourcing) under engineering controlEngage with suppliers including designing packaging, setting up packaging and labeling processes, obtaining quotes and creating scorecardsCreate and/or review packaging designs in CAD environmentPerform root-cause analysis on simple packaging failures and recommend corrective actionsCoordinate with the packaging test lab to get the packaging designs/ configurations testedLead packaging SharePoint projects to meet schedules and deliverablesCommunicate the packaging project status, needs and issues to the cross-functional stakeholdersRelease specifications via Engineering Change Order (ECO) processPerform other duties/projects as assigned, based on departmental and BU specific goals Experience - 4 to 7 Years
