At Eaton, we are dedicated to improving quality of life and protecting the environment through innovative power management technologies. We are now looking for a Field Service Engineer (UPS) to join our team in Denmark.
What you'll do:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will deliver first-class service to Eaton's installed base and ensure maximum customer satisfaction. The primary focus of the role is on UPS systems, covering everything from small single-phase units to large-scale data centre solutions (up to 1200 kVA).
Your key responsibilities will include:
Commissioning, servicing, repairing, and maintaining Eaton UPS systemsPerforming preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performanceSupporting customers with technical queries via phone, email, and on-site visitsCollaborating with colleagues in Service and Sales by providing technical expertiseSupporting project managers with planning and commissioning schedulesActing as a mentor for newly hired Field Service EngineersMaintaining accurate time reporting and technical documentation for all work performedProactively participating in planning and scheduling of service activitiesSupporting key customers, including high-profile sites, with technical adviceMaintaining close cooperation with internal business units on technical mattersActively supporting Eaton's Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) cultureEnsuring compliance with Eaton policies, processes, and code of ethicsParticipating in all required technical and mandatory training Qualifications:
Electrical education at upper secondary (Gymnasium) level or equivalentMinimum 2+ years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., service technician, industrial electrician)Strong knowledge of 1-phase and 3-phase electrical systems and UPS systems, battery backup, and emergency power supply Skills:
