Schwab Private Wealth Services (SPWS) delivers a highly personalized experience for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients with $10M+ in assets. As a Director, SPWS Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in growing this business by building meaningful relationships and connecting clients to Schwab's full range of capabilities.
What You'll Do
Drive new business growth by outbound prospecting, networking, qualifying, and closing UHNW client relationshipsServe as a subject matter resource on SPWS and UHNW client needsAlign clients to the most appropriate Schwab solutionsConnect clients to relationship structures across Private Wealth Services, Family Office, and Separate Account NetworkBuild strong partnerships with Wealth Consultants, Financial Consultants, and internal teamsSupport SPWS growth through referrals, asset consolidation, and network developmentMaintain focus on developing new UHNW opportunities What you have
What You Bring
Experience advising UHNW clients and family officesEntrepreneurial mindset with ability to drive new business independently and collaborativelyKnowledge and experience of UHNW planning (estate, tax, trusts, lending, complex assets)Commitment to staying current on capabilities and industry trendsAbility to build trust with clients and stakeholdersCollaborative, team-oriented mindsetStrong executive presence and communication skillsHigh professionalism and integrityDrive for results and continuous improvementNetwork of centers of influence (e.g., CPAs, attorneys) Required Qualifications
10+ years of UHNW or family office/business development experience2+ years of prospecting and building UHNW relationshipsSeries 7 and 66 licenses Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field Preferred Qualifications
