Role Overview
The Lead Generation Specialist will be a member of the LeadGen team within Broadridge's Global Sales, Marketing and Solutions Organization reporting to the Head of International Lead Generation. This individual in this role will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure that our company's sales goals are met.
ResponsibilitiesMatch Broadridge products and services with client pain points, using comprehensive knowledge and proof points to explain how our solutions meet customer needsGenerate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunitiesCollaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies for reaching sales targetsManage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next stepsIdentify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbookUtilize Salesforce, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunitiesBuild long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunitiesProactively seek new business opportunities in the marketSchedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customersTrack progress towards meeting sales goalsUse customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activitiesStay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developmentsAttend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leadsProvide regular reports on sales activities and results to managementYour ProfileMinimum of 3-4 years of experienceBachelor's degreeProficiency with Salesforce or other CRM softwareMulti-lingual preferred (Mandarin and Cantonese will be an advantage)Experience in client services, or sales support role a plusStrong communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively over the phone; the ability to clearly articulate a message to attract attention and buy-in. Must also effectively communicate in writingAbility to influence others, and persuade them to change their minds or behavior; The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand and change their perspective and/or consider other perspectivesAbility to demonstrate active listening.
