Customer facing staff responsible for winning business as a sales manager, interfacing with commercial, engineering, legal and project execution teams to achieve Commercial objectives. High levels of Commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required with a high prioritization towards Power Electronics Stability Systems, Energy Storage and EMS applications for Data Centers within Hyperscalers.
Job Description
Key responsibilities: Be accountable for meeting or exceeding an established OP planDevelop and execute commercial strategy for sales of stability solutions for data centers with the Hyperscalers and potential Power Providers in North America Market, including Power Electronics Stability Systems (MV UPS, Statcom,Solid State Transformers, etc), Energy Storage, Distribution Systems and EMS applicationsCreate the connection with Hyperscalers and make a link within GEV organization to structure the growth and strategic plan.Own the accurate forecasting of orders and convertible orders for your account package and reflect that in Salesforce.comManage relationships on day-to-day basis and provide transactional support.Coordinate with selected GE Vernova businesses sales personnel across the region to implement joint account strategies and close synergy ordersDevelop and execute an overall growth strategy with integrated plays for GE across the regionDevelop strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of the sales team's strategic direction, including power developers/Data Center Developers/Independent Power Producers and co-locatorsDrive identification, prospecting and creation of new sales opportunitiesSupport your customers in sales activities and provide assistance to them in identifying new opportunitiesCoordinate activities and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing and deliveryNegotiate contracts as requiredMaintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer baseWork with Marketing to develop project specific sales strategies for assigned customersProvide feedback to the leadership team to drive continued growthManage expenses within a given budgetOwn the accounts in region; responsible for maintaining relationships at all levels of organization; developing and monitoring growth plans; marketing programs; trainingManage, maintain, and grow accounts in region to achieve quarterly and yearly quotasEnsure GE-provided leads are followed-up and convert to orders.Enforce global compliance standards; collaborate with compliance manager to perform due diligence activities.Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership.
Required qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, technical discipline or a related filed from an accredited university or college.Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Sales/Commercial Operations/Engineering/Technical Engineering with relations on Commercial sideMinimum of 4 years of experience within the Developer and Utilities MarketsExperience with Data Center Markets and PortfoliosAbility and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver's license / satisfactory driving recordAbility and willingness to travel North America 30% - 50% of the time
Preferred qualifications: Relationship with HyperscalersPrior sales success in in Storage storage/ Data Centre Power Management / hybridsExperience and familiarity with Gas Turbines / Battery storage/ Grid connection and Islanded grids / hybrids industry customers and their overall system operations processesSuccessful sales leadership experience with high value, high price system sales to senior leadershipIn-depth knowledge of the battery storage applications for product lines and marketsExperience developing relationships at all levels within an organizationExisting executive-level contacts at one or more accounts in the regionComfortable/experienced with cold calling new targeted customers

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $128,400.00 and $213,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
