Responsibilities
This is a Treasury Sales Officer role, managing a portfolio of the subsidiaries of US HQ-ed Commercial Banking clients in the Mumbai regionSuccess is defined by new sales wins, revenue growth and retention within a predefined portfolio as a corporate sales consultant across treasury, trade and FXEngage key decision makers of the largest and most demanding clients and advancing relationships holistically, from initiating access and dialogue, to building material relationships and acting as a trusted advisorWork closely with the APAC Regional Treasury Sales team, other regions, and the GCB banking team to deliver solutions to our clientsPro-active approach to sales, sending unsolicited proposals, leading client engagement and pitches / presentationsRespond to RFPs (Requests for Proposal)Constantly review client names to ensure that the names achieve and maintain hurdle profitability levelsIdentify and implement revenue opportunities for names assigned via cross-sell opportunities through ongoing discussions with clientsCoordinate with implementation and service teams to ensure smooth implementation and high client satisfactionEnsure timely resolution of relationship-sensitive client servicing issues within the organization and act as the senior escalation point in relationship-sensitive key service issuesCompletion of ad-hoc projects related to the Global Commercial Banking business, or the larger Global Payments Solutions organization Requirements
Relevant cash and trade sales or relationship management experience within a top tier international/ regional bankFamiliarity with nuances of the India market, including applicable rules and regulations for foreign companiesProven track record in managing complex cash and trade deals for multinational corporationsExcellent written and oral communication skills, in English.Strong presentation skillsStrong inter-personal and organizational skillsAble to successfully develop and maintain collaborative working relationshipsStrong financial skillsKnowledge of Corporate Treasury functionsStrong client engagement skills with an unwavering focus on client satisfaction and growing businessA team player who understands how to leverage various businesses functions/partners to drive business growth and support global client management and sales teamsWilling to travel within the country and APACStrong OA and AI skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, Salesforce, etc) Desired Skills:
