What you'll do:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse & Material Providing Project Leader / Specialist to support the rapid growth of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead the transformation and optimization of our warehouse and material supply processes, including the outsourcing of warehouse operations. You will ensure efficient material flow to production, scalability of logistics operations, and seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.
Warehouse Strategy & Outsourcing
Lead the outsourcing of warehouse operations to external logistics providers (3PLs/4PLs)Define and implement the warehouse strategy to support business growth and scalabilitySelect, onboard, and manage external warehouse partnersEnsure smooth transition of operations from in-house to outsourced setups Material Flow & Production Supply
Optimize material providing processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery to production linesDesign and implement efficient inbound, storage, picking, and line-feeding conceptsEnsure alignment between warehouse operations and production planning Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Analyze current logistics and warehouse processes and implement improvementsDrive Lean, automation, and digitalization initiatives within warehouse and material flowStandardize processes across sites to improve efficiency and scalability Project Leadership
Lead cross-functional projects related to warehouse optimization, outsourcing, and material flow improvementsManage project timelines, risks, budgets, and deliverablesCoordinate with operations, supply chain, procurement, IT, and external partners Performance & KPI Management
Define and track KPIs (e.g., delivery reliability, inventory accuracy, lead times, costs)Monitor performance of external warehouse providers and drive improvementsEnsure service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded Systems & Integration
Ensure proper system support for warehouse and material flow processes (e.g., WMS, SAP)Support integration between warehouse systems and production/supply chain systemsDrive data accuracy and transparency across systems Qualifications:
Several years of experience in project management. Preferably on outsourcing and procurement management.Master or Bachelor level on appropriate science Skills:
Project management skills & toolsStrong knowledge of warehouse processes, material flow concepts, and production supplyExperience with WMS, SAP or similar systemsFluent English, Finnish is an adventageCoordination skills with various stakeholders What we can offer to you:
